Old Castle Wall

Material made entirely with Substance Designer for a project.
Rendered with Marmoset Toolbag and Unreal Engine!

The goal was to recreate the different combinations of those rock walls with the same color palette but with different variations.
I gathered the reference from my pictures (if you have the possibility to study the material in real life, it's always the best choice) and from google, to understand better the shapes, the variations, combinations and microdetails/compositions of the material.

Now begins the "Designer" part, and you need to try a lot of different options to achieve the final result as best as you can! Trying different nodes and sometimes delete everything and begin again.

I have exposed many parameters for Unreal Engine and for renderings, to make it easier to use.
It was really fun to study and recreate this material!

I Hope you enjoy it!

Feedback always welcome =)

Always begin thinking about the Project / Organize it Deadline based and after this process, take your time for a Reference search. it's crucial when trying to achieve realistic results.
